CYA Field Hockey is participating on the Northern Virginia Field Hockey Alliance League again this Spring. League games will be Saturdays, starting the weekend after Spring Break through to the weekend before Memorial Day. All teams will have 1 practice weekly beginning the middle of March.  The league is open to all players in grades 3 -8, both new and returning players are welcome.  We are always looking for volunteers to help coach so please sign up (no experience necessary)!

We will be fielding teams at the 3rd/4th, 5th/6th, and 7th/8th grade levels.  The number of teams at each grade level grouping is dependent upon the number of volunteer coaches.

Curious about buying a field hockey stick? New to the sport and not sure what to look for in a field hockey stick?  Look no further!  The most important thing to keep in mind for our beginners is stick length.  Sticks should be no taller than the player's hip bone.
