Frequently Asked Questions

When are tryouts?
Fall 2025 tryouts are TBD.

What if we cannot make the scheduled tryouts?
Players may attend tryouts for the other age group. If neither tryout time works, indicate this in your registration, and we will contact you regarding an alternative session.

What is the season schedule?
Fall 10U practice schedule is TBD. 
Fall 12U practice schedule is TBD.

How many players will be on the team?
The roster will be limited to a maximum of 12 players. Guest players may be used to fill in for absences during games.

Will we only play against teams in the same age group?
Yes, doubleheaders are played against other House+/All Star level teams in the same age group. Teams are formed using the same USA Softball/USSSA rules for age groups. 

Who are the coaches?
Fall coaches are TBD.

Where will games take place?
We’ll coordinate with our interleague partners to create a schedule. Games may take place on either our fields or theirs.

Will we have more senior umpires?
Yes, games are umpired by adult umpires paid for with the doubleheader fee. 

What does the $90 fee cover?
Doubleheaders are $152 which covers admin fees, field, and umpire. Uniforms can be up to $40. Any additional overage will be used for supplies and other costs at the coach's discretion. 

What if not enough girls are interested?
Your interest is crucial to its success. To ensure a competitive team, we require a minimum of two pitchers and two catchers. If we don't reach full team capacity, we can focus on skill-building practices or revisit team formation in the next season.
